Services

Proxy Server - The SAAS Proxy Server offers transparent, instant caching proxy services using the same software (SQUID) used by Telstra and other large ISPs. Absolutely no maintenance or configuration required by end users.

Fully Pre-configured - Individually pre-configured settings: Every sever is uniquely customised with the settings required to connect to your school's ISDN service. No further configuration required.

Automatic Workstation Settings - Pre-configured DHCP server automatically allocates unique settings to each workstation: You won't need to set up IP addresses, Gateways and other stuff in your workstation network preferences.

Automatic Browser Settings - Automatically allocates browser proxy settings to each workstation using DET or your own customised .pac files.

Security - The built in packet filter firewall is pre-configured to protect your school's private data while giving your users full Internet access. Settings are compatible with DET configuration files (.pac files).

Browser based administration - The SAAS Proxy Server includes a web-based application that allows authorised users full GUI based administration from any Macintosh or PC workstation. You'll never need to use the admin tool unless you wish to enable any of the servers Extended Features (included but not active by default - see next item)

Extended Features - Apache Web server, SendMail SMTP, POP-3, IMAP, MySQL, WebSchool Groupware, Calendars, CGI, PHP, SSL, Perl and heaps more!

The cost includes 12 month warranty on all hardware. The cost does not include telephone support beyond that reasonably required for installation (as the sytem comes fully pre-configured and tested, the need for telephone support is unlikely ;^).
